The Dandenong Ranges are a short drive from the Centre and offer a variety of arts and craft boutiques, gourmet food outlets and stunning views. There is also a maze available (located at Sky High lookout ) as well as a choice of bushland walks. Ricketts Sanctuary is a renowned tourist attraction featuring aboriginal and native carvings by local artist William Rickett displayed the natural bushland.

Lilydale Lake offers a range of activities -bring your boat and sail on the 28 hectare lake, enjoy the smooth 10k bike ride, take a relaxed walk up to the historic ruins of an old flour mill, or let the kids run wild on an all abilities adventure playground whilst mum or dad cook on one of the many barbeques. A versatile park that suits all the family and is always open.
The Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail
Victoria’s most popular tourist bike trails. Running some 40 kilometres from Lilydale Station to the Warburton Information Centre one way, but riders can begin at any stage. Track goes through a variety of terrains; from bushland, to pasture and the foothills of the Yarra ranges. The rail trail even boasts access to some of its own cafés. Trail is open at all times.
We are surrounded by an impressive selection of Golf Courses. Eastwood and the Heritage are both private courses, whilst Chirnside Park has a public course. A brand new course has recently been established at Yering also. All courses are approximately 15-20 min away.
There are a number of horse riding establishments in the area. The Yarra Valley Equestrian Centre offers a choice of trail or guided rides and can accommodate novices through to experienced riders.

Yarra Ranges Regional Museum
