The Foothills team has been working hard to keep the positivity alive and morale high during our quarantine. Through our social media channels, we’ve been communicating our love and support to all our friends and family. Although our centre is temporarily closed, we want you to know that we’ve been keeping our spirits high and doing our best to stay in touch with our community. We’ve been working on our venue behind closed doors so that we can re-open stronger and continue to accommodate our welcomed guests.
The Foothills marketing team are working on and improving our social media presence to ensure everyone is up to date with our centre. We have taken to social media platforms to share behind-the-scenes shots of our venue and events that guests may not have had the chance to experience. This includes wedding ceremonies and receptions that were held in our vast grounds and private function rooms, our never-ending gardens that are full of rich native plants and fascinating wildlife, and our community fun days and social events.
The Foothills kitchen staff have also been hard at work focusing on improving and expanding our recipes. We are always looking for creative ways to highlight our beautiful Yarra Valley produce. The dedicated kitchen staff have been focusing on improving their team by learning new skills and strategies to achieve their goals better and more efficiently. We always ensure that they always have access to the freshest ingredients and latest tools so that they’re always free to apply their skills and experiment in creating new and exciting dishes.
Our grounds team are committed to tending to our landscape–guaranteeing that paths are always clear, plants are continuously watered, and our lawns are neat and maintained. New plants are been planted into our gardens with the intention of our gardens growing and becoming more vibrant than ever. We are also checking all equipment in our kitchen, accommodation rooms, and our function rooms to ensure that they are all up-to-date and safe to use.
